It has been over a year. I am so sorry it has taken this long to add another post to this blog. But all is not lost, as I have just finished a book of nineteenth century postmortem portraiture. It is titled Alpha & Omega: Post Mortem Portraits of Children and is available on the Lulu website.
Within its 70 pages are large color images from the collection, a brief essay on the history and practice of postmortem portraiture, and a complete illustrated list of all the prints in the collection as of July 2013.
